I woke up a lot later than usual today which kind of threw me off, but my amazing breakfast gave me a great start to my late day!
This morning, I made what I consider the ultimate breakfast sandwich; a waffle sandwich with two maple cinnamon lifestream waffles, peanut butter, raspberry preserves, a tiny banana, a sprinkling of flax, and a drizzle of maple syrup. Finger lickin’ good, and totally hit the spot. I had my waffle sandwich with some strawberries i sliced, and a small cup of almond milk (not pictured). With this breakfast, I feel totally fueled and energized for my day!

I see a lot of people eating these waffle sandwiches–they look SO good! I have a quick question though–do you toast the waffles or do you just heat them up? I would really like to try making these, but I don’t have a toaster in my dorm room!

I toast them, but they would be fine if you just heat them up! Sometimes I think heating them up would be better because once they come out of the toaster, they get cold almost immediately!
